As someone who is working on a fast phase job being persistent play a major role in your daily job.
By the way just to give you an idea I'm currently working in a Manpower service provider. When you say Manpower it's basically providing our client a consistent resources of employees ready to do job in their business.
It's not easy being consistent while simultaneously being persistent. I'm talking about working your butt to deliver your promise batch of applicants to our client.
Almost everyday I'm bombarded with phone calls from different client getting their request updates. As a recruiter you should have a ready answer for those updates to prevent clients being upset.
It's my job and you got no excuses for not doing your job very well. While there's so many activities coming up every hour, You should always kept in mind what is the priority that you should be accomplishing.
I just want to feature an applicant who just got listed for deployment on one of our clients her name "Roda" she is a single mom only around 22 years old.
I was just impressed how persistent this person is to get a job. She was just carrying a small amount of money just a transportation allowance on her way to our office. She got no budget for lunch and that was tough, it's not easy, the process she's going through just to get a job is not very easy for most of us who had a pocket money.
She told me that she sold her cell phone not a smart phone but just a keypad phone which is starting to get phase out in the market.
She sold her phone to a tricycle driver and that was a heck of a decision. Sacrificing her communication to her child's food and additional allowance for daily expenses. She was about to leave the office and came back after few minutes telling that she has a certain skill particularly doing "massage therapy" ask me and she was darn good and she knows what she do.
She already selling her service to me even few days ago while I'm processing her papers and believe me she really meant it!
So she came back and offering me a massage. Initial thought was "okay I'll give her a try". So we drive our way home from our office a 1 hour and 30 minutes ride.
Ask my parent I'm letting Ms. Roda to give them a massage... Boom and the 3 of us my dad and mom was given a great massage.
After a few hours I took her to the nearest pick up point via jeep to get home at Binan Laguna. I hand her my payment for her services and off she goes.
And that's how very persistent she was making a living just to get to another big opportunity thru employment.
I tell you it's not a typical day with most people around us offering their services to people they don't really knew.
I knew this story might give us literally an example how to be persistent not to quit and still follow all those dream and wish in life.
Getting things done and achieve it is not walk in the park it always requires courage and toughness to get through life.
Connect with me here and I'll share you some stories and info that might be inspiring and helpful for you.

Underrated Gratitude
Blessed day and peace to you my friend. Did you had an experience when you're still a kid, whenever you wanted something most likely you can have it? You even gonna fight everyone to have it. For crying out loud you'll never stop until you have that toys, candies, chocolate and gameboy.
But it seems that it is not the case anymore, as we pass by early childhood that seem to change gradually. Most things aren't taken for granted anymore and life seem to be complicated at times.
You already had a smart phone but you aren't still happy and wanted the latest..
Most of us doesn't realize why, and now life hits. You can never beg right now to somebody to give you something you really wanted, People aren't happy with simple things anymore.
Most people don't get what they really wanted but getting what they can only afford and still unhappy.
I am 100% sure that the world isn't lacking and it's still abundant with everything. Only the feelings that we had sometimes block and resist things that prevented us from getting what we want.
A friend of mine shared me of his secret and that is simply gratitude. At first you won't pay too much attention but when I realize it is.
You can never start doing it right if the force in every action is the feeling of lack instead of fulfillment, courage and not fear, joyful not anxiety.
Practicing a deep sense of gratitude could be challenging if the reality shows you of all the lacking things of life but at some point you have to realize all the blessing that you've got to get back those energy and let all the abundant things get in to your life.
Having a sense of gratitude in life can make a big difference, thankful for everything that you have already, the family that you've got, the health that you had are the basic things that was taken for granted.
Once you got out of the feeling of lacking and you finally broke that mental state then that's the start of flowing blessings coming in to your life.
Even your reality seems too difficult, buried in debt, some illness you feel right now, or you are in a bad relationship. Don't make it overwhelm you because too much pondering in that idea might expand your situation and it keeps on coming and coming in your head.
What you can do is see the other side think of the things you wanted and feel that, when you really felt that feeling see for yourself, the universe will give you the things for you.
You just have to believe and have a strong faith with that. You can because you deserve the abundant things.
So stop blaming people or your circumstances because it won't help.
Get up every morning with the feeling of gratitude and do your thing.
Remember when you feel gratitude nothing is lacking and it brings that happiness. That's how you start attracting things.
Try it for yourself, get back on my blog if you see result.
If you think this is helpful to you, I invite you to subscribe.
Have blessed day and peace out!

Life in Dubai
Just landed here in Dubai 5 days ago now.
Dubai is one of the 7 Emirates within U.A.E.
Just 2 hours bus travel from Abu Dhabi is Dubai absolutely a place you don't want to miss visiting around the world. Known for its many famous landmark Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, Palm Jumeirah and many more.
These places are great tourist spot. You can't help yourself taking pictures with it.
Living in Dubai was I can say pretty convenient, some food are that cheap and affordable, travelling places are easy as long as you're already familiar, traffic are not that congested, every intersection almost have traffic lighy and people are in a fast phase mode.
You can note that expensive things around here is what they called DEWA or Dubai Electric and Water Authority.
Most places here have apartment and hotels. Finding a good place to live is a little bit challenging. You surely want to live in a place with WIFI, at least comfortable bed, and somewhat good room space to move around.
There's also many filipinos roaming in the streets, working in fast food chain, inside malls and around the streets and metro stations. You'll quickly notice their looks they called here "KABAYAN". It is as if you're just in the Philippines. Most receptionist around here are filipina also, I'm a little bit curious about it maybe it's because they the most pleasing personality ha ha! compared to other nationality here in Dubai.
There are also a lot of Pakistan, Indian and Asian nationality here. Most of them are employed. Mostly businesses out here are owned by local people dressed on condura.
To end up my story, For those who also wanted to get here I'll remind you one key thing. Have yourself ready and decided to be here, Because sometimes you might experience missing your family back home. Have some good relatives with you here that are ready to help you once you get here. They will be there in time you needed help for some financing.
Once you have your job right here it's up to you to establish your portfolio to find a more better position. Make sure you get your employment visa because getting your own visa will be expensive.
By the way there's an app called "2gis" help me search location and companies in Dubai. It's like a gps it works for me even offline. It shows you what bus to ride to get you where you want. It tells you also direction and how to get there.
One more be sure to know why you want to go here because the expenses to get here is not a joke.
My hopes is for the OFW working around the world not just here in Dubai for they are working in sweat for a better life for themselves and their family.
If this is helpful to you I invite you to subscribe. Peace and be blessed once again.

Don't Fall in to Hype
September 13 this year, my friend of mine reach me out asking if I can join her to attend a business seminar. She also had this particular client she just knew from social media. Her client is telling if he could check out the product that my friend is offering.
We already had several conversation about her client that seems for me too suspicious. Her client seems to be bragging too much his several companies locally and abroad. He had this so called hotels in major city and hotel near popular beach. He also joking that he was looking for a partner in life and he really needed that beauty product.
It might sound that he was super rich but that's where gold turn to tin. Upon travelling several hours with a ride from my friend's godfather, we were a little bit late meeting her client.
At first approach the client looks descent, suited with a black jacket inside is a long sleeve with a pair black leather shoe and on his hand is a catalog of BMW model car.
Honestly he was too boastful and braggy all day long and I think it was his strategy for getting our feelings.
The client was great telling stories with his so called family and his properties and company. He also added he made a purchase with top of the line BMW model. Ask me and this guy is really good at it and it was seems too effortless on his part.
Once we're on the company's head office we went inside a conference room with my friend's godfather and presented everything to my friend's client.
After the presentation he told that he was taking the most expensive package of the company worth 70K peso and more than that he told us he was getting 4 times of it and later after a call from his mom he will make it 10x making a staggering 700K worth of package.
Talking about big time he was really nailing it. He's telling that he will make a managers check for it. Another phone call late around 6 in the evening and he told us he did make a reservation in the Crown hotel restaurant for dinner later at 7.
So we went there and gather our self up in that nice expensive restaurant. It was located way up to the top 5 floor from the underground parking lot.
He was insisting us to make a order and assuring us that he left his credit card on the reception and he will pay all the bills. No one of us really did an order and just waiting for him to order for us and later he ask that he will go out to a store to buy some sugar free drink for his mom who had diabetes.
So he ask if I could accompany him to the ground floor to buy. So we went there and pick up the drink. Once we're on the cashier he told me that he will look for a doughnut to buy. So he ask me for a cash because he doesn't have it in his wallet full of credit cards.
After I gave him the cash wew. He just left nowhere to be found. That's what I call an escape artist.
I was like waiting for several minutes. I was already wondering what really happens then I get back on the restaurant to talk with my friend telling that her client left me in the ground floor.
So it was like within an hour and he did not went back to us. From the ground floor waiting, I just thought we've been outsmarted. It was really a great lesson for us people who just wanted to do simple business with client.
Lesson I picked up from the experience.
Honestly I never experience this event before on my previous business transactions. So here's the lesson.
1. Don't trust people you don't know, specially people who you knew from social media.
2. Don't meet up if you're alone, just to avoid even worst incident.
3. Be very keen if the client really credible and trustworthy.
4. Don't be deceived by their looks even they carry a BMW catalog and bragging too much on his possession. Rich people tend not to project too much of luxury.
5. Don't lend anything to your client, cash or product it depends. But as much as possible aside from brochure don't ever lend them anything.
6. Beware if the client is taking advantage from you or asking too much favor. Being a little bit suspicious in some cases are not so bad.
Hopefully you get some good tips to avoid this things in setting up appointment to your client in your businesses.

Inspiring Thai Movie "The Billionaire" Young Entrepreneur
The story of this Thai young boy "Itthipat Kulapongvanich". A high school young boy, an online gamer and has a mind set of an entrepreneur find his way to overcome and pay the 40M debt of his family who migrated to China and left him in Thailand.
He took a brave path of dropping out of college and find his way becoming a self made successful entrepreneur through selling Chestnuts and finally finding his gold mine producing fried seaweeds to many 7-Eleven branches.
Top Ittipat - "Tai Kae Noi" Owner |
Noted :
- 16th years old – Get Hooked on Games
- 17th years old – He dropped out of school to be a nut peddler
- 18th years old – His family went bankrupt – debts of 40 million Baht
- 19th years old – He created the seaweed snacks ‘Tao Kae Noi’ is sold in 3,000 7-Eleven in Thailand
And now He is 26th years old, earned 800 million Bath per year and employs 2,000 staff.
If you have time you can always watch this 2011 film "The Billionaire" a 2 hour movie to get the lesson of the story.
The path "Top" took is really a brave thing to do. Quitting his studies and facing uncertainty in the future didn't stop him down on pursuing on what he believes in.
There's so many lessons extracted from the movie here's just my list:
- He doesn't knew everything in the business he started but spite of that he still started and find his way what works for him and what's not through learning the process and mistakes.
- He trusted his inner voice within. Although his friend, girl friend and even his parents advises him, he still trusted his voice within and follow through. Good thing he trusted his guts.
- He collected his ideas around to works for him. I know information can overload your head but I think we should be picky on what's just fit for us. I know there's ton of good information out there.
- He leverage his idea and expanded it. Never heard of the "Forest Encircle Cities Strategy" that's why I researched it. That's what the power of leverage do.
- You should not quit trying even you got into different venture in life. The point is in the process you will find out what will not work and what's working, as long as you stay in the business you will find your way.
If you have lesson on your own that relates to this story feel free to post it on the comment tab below.

Gilas Pilipinas Big Heart
Just recently watch the game between Croatia and Philippines Gilas Pilipinas team in their first FIBA World Cup game in Spain.
It was a close game and talking about the heart of the Filipinos and despite their size disadvantage to their opponent Croatia, it may look an easy game for the other team but watch out these Filipino player has heart and they never gave up till the last minute of the game.
See link here with the game details https://ph.sports.yahoo.com/news/gilas-versus-croatia
Although Croatia won in an overtime game 81-78, it was still an impressive game by the under size Philippines team. I've been playing basketball in my hometown years ago and we had this Inter-Barangay leagues and when we say this kind of league, do expect big players will play on the court.
Surely I know the feeling of pounding by opponent 3-5 inches taller than you. These people can fly high and jump over you. It's no walk in the park in the game of basketball. If you don't wanna beat up badly, you got to fight and play hard no matter what.
